North Valley Aviation Association

The North Valley Aviation Association (aka the North Valley Pilots Association) is comprised of individuals and groups that enjoy aviation, aircraft and flying. Those with interest in aviation are encouraged to join this group of enthusiasts. NVAA is a chapter of the California Pilots Association who’s mission is to promote and preserve the state’s general aviation airports. (Affiliated website: www.calpilots.org) One of the main interests of the NVAA is to sponsor our youth in the love and dedication of aviation. To that end, we have developed the Chico Summer Flight Academy (SFA) program for local high school students, where several students are given the opportunity to participate in a course in ground school and in the left seat. The NVAA raises the funds necessary for this program and the students attend free. The Flight Academy was held June 7-18 last year. All contributions welcome!

The NVAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your contributions to the NVAA and/or the Summer Flight Academy are tax deductable.

Were you looking for the North Valley Pilots Association? You found us. We've changed our name a bit to emphasize that we welcome everyone with an interest in aviation.
